The House Haunted
2012, 09:05 minutes, colour, sound (no dialogue, English text)
TAPECODE 712.08
Inspired by Buster Keaton films and an interest in activated spaces, this video reconstructs the architecture of the set of his 1921 film: The Haunted House. On screen you can follow the action as it moves through the rooms. The section of the film used is a chase scene so the spatial connections between rooms encourage you to see the flow of action in a new, architectural way.
Also available as a looping installation
