Elemental is a five minute video or media work consisting entirely of downloaded Pixabay MP4 sequences or clips. The clips were downloaded from three subject folders: Extreme Weather, Fire, and War. The video is composed in that sequence, with the occasional clip from another unspecified source. Elemental is characterized by an intense self-composed soundtrack….a minor key electronic dirge.
Possible subject references include weather, fire, war, environment, climate, found imagery, and perhaps more. These images I feel are quite representative of the current world climate, for better or worse.
