The Possible Fog of Heaven is based on the first interview with the late singer, Elvis Presley, since his death in 1977. The piece is structured around the three prescription drugs Elvis had in his body at the time of his death: Dilaudid 50, Percodan 100, Quaalude 150. Elvis gives us a verbal tour of the Promised Land in voice over and scrolling text. This is the first work that begins a long standing fascination with the end of the world and the possibilities of an afterlife; a place where logic and gravity have no bearing on the outcome
