Mr. Baxter’s Trip to a Parallel Universe continues a long theme of works that I have made in video, drawing and painting which is informed by a fascination with imagined spaces that lay outside of the rational,  gravitationally determined, physical world. Influences come from the bible more than  from science fiction. There is always an element of the supernatural. My Midwestern roots provide a wackiness as well. Probably too much beer. Mr. Baxter began as pencil drawings on paper which were then scanned and digitally animated.
