Justice (After Margaret Dragu) was first curated by the 7a-11d International Festival of Performance Art, Toronto in 2016. This video is documentation from that live performance.

Justice is an homage not only to those of us who seek freedom from arcane systems of abusive power, but also to artist Margaret Dragu and her performance-art persona, Lady Justice, who bears witness to our determination to exact judicial reform. Justice reflects on issues of violence and sexuality in the 21st century bringing to the conversation current feminist critiques from the #metoo movement, #ibelievesurvivors, Slut Walk and the Stop Rape movements. Justice explores the interrelation of fear, (in)justice and the gendered body following themes of power and intersubjectivity in Barry’s work.
