An autobiographical narrative, that examines how through time, embellishments, forgetfulness, and change of character, memory is transformed to become a kind of fictional fantasy. My intent was not to recreate the past as it was, but rather to show how it now lives in the character's mind. In its mediated form the experience is then read only partially as autobiography and primarily as narrative fiction.
