This is a documentary on the subject of male masturbation. It goes beyond the conventional talking head documentary and explores a new experimental genre where the body instead of the face is used as the communicative mode for the dissemination of information through the expression and demonstration of the act.
The purpose of this documentary is to demystify masturbation by educating people on this subject. It does so by taking a positive and comprehensive look at how people perceive and understand the act, and in general how men masturbate. The video does so by combining voice interviews with masturbation footage. This genre is used to: 1) show how men actually masturbate and the variation of styles used opposed to the stereotypical methods used in pornography; 2) Facilitate a re-examination of mens relation to their bodies and the subject of masturbation and 3) Get people to deal with their inhibitions surrounding the viewing of nudity, sexual arousal, and specifically genitalia.
