Ada is mainly shot in a nursing home by a two person crew and is about women aging, somewhat of an internal journey into the worlds they inhabit and perceptions of their present situation. Protection by fixation, awareness of confusion and preparation for the natural outcome are revealed. Although this exploration may be disquieting to some, humanity with dignity is presented. Although the work is not a documentary, such elements are relevant in the nursing home footage which makes up the middle and the majority of the tape.
