Street Portrait examines a unique concentration of urban problems and community successes. Only a mile and a quarter long, Brunswick Street in Halifax contains one of Canada's most complete collections of nineteenth century residential architecture situated among federally funded housing initiatives. The street features both commercial and residential sections with a white and black population whose income levels range from those of upper middle class professionals to those of social service recipients.
Street Portrait is the story of present day issues at play on Brunswick Street.
