In this half hour special, Tina Keeper invites us to join a unique cross-cultural camp hosted by the Peigan Nation for top ranking RCMP officials, Crown Prosecutors and a Judge.
For the first time, representatives of Western Aboriginal Nations shared thousand year old traditions with key members from Western Canada's judicial system in an effort to forge a new relationship between Mounties and Indians. Both sides had something to learn.
In an actual Sentencing Circle we participate in this traditional process under the guidance of Reg Crow Shoe, Director of Development, Oldman River Cultural Centre.
