Threnody: A Wailing Song For Carl

Ken Anderlini

1991, 20:00 minutes, English

In memory of a friend who died of an AIDS related illness, the tape is at one and the same time a representation of the grieving process and an act of mourning. In examining the whirlwind of emotions felt upon the death of a friend, the artist confronts the fear, guilt and anger which arises from the dominant ideological construction of the AIDS epidemic.
