Smear Campaign is a multi-media, video interactive performance. The work critically examines the ominous presence of media and the manipulation of information in a media saturated society. It uses a cast of nine performers who represent a variety of media stereotypes, phantasmagorical characters and everyday people. These characters interact in a staged environment of audio soundtapes and video projection.
