Installation and performance documentation, Randolph Street Project, Chicago.
"A Sacred Prostitute", is a speculation on the sexual and spiritual identity of the "body." The prologue is presented as installation where the viewer wanders through an interiorized space of memory/dream/history presented through life-size dissolving projections onto free standing transparent screens and synch sound. From the prologue, the viewer enters into the performance space, a Blues Lounge AKA temple/harem, to become witness to a dialogue between the lounge singer and the narrator.
