Altitude plays a game where our sense of physical geography is set against the fluid conceptual space of the net and the two dimensional screen-based interface that most of us use in order to encounter it. By using a diagrammatic scale that makes the top of a browser page high (stratosphere) and the bottom of the page low (sea level) a user visits a series of pages taken from exisiting sites such as Santa's grotto in the north pole or a dating agency in Moscow and gathers audio fragments of a phone conversation discussing a UFO sighting.
