Windwords

1996, English

TAPECODE 10129

Windwords is a self executing multimedia software. The physical performance and text are by Kathleen Richardson, the photography, programming and synthetic movie were created by Eric Dymond. Windwords was performed on the boardwalk in Toronto's Western beaches and addresses the relationship between the sky, the water and the wind. The physical motion created by the wind is the third collaborator. This work was performed during a time of psychic healing for the performer. Her release is a deeply feminist, primitive purging of what were profoundly sorrowful events.
