With source material ranging from 'Black Elk Speaks' And 'Revelations' to scenes from the prairies near Banff, artist Edward Poitras creates a Web site and installation entitled Jaw Rez that follows the path of the coyote trickster. Riddles lead to narrative loops that suggest connections between different cosmologies, natural systems, and the hypertextual structures of the Web. This work charts the space of beliefs that determines how information about the world in general is organized.
