Martha Newbigging and Almerinda Travassos

2001, 04:00 minutes, colour, English

Using composited video, photographs and text, The Bees Are Trespassing, attempts to expose the grim truth that much of our modern food supply is poisoned by chemical pesticides before we eat it. Inspired by environmental activist Rachel Carson the tape makes reference to Snow White who was poisoned by eating what seemed to be a harmless apple.
