A video tribute to the Horse Nations, Holy Dog is something akin to a traditional music video. It is scored by a traditional song and poem written in celebration of the artist's horse, Spider. Woman and Horse make circular journeys through the landscape, moving physically and metaphorically around a medicine wheel, as well as through the land of the Similkameen reservation, where the artist lives. The artist's original practice as a painter is reflected in the way the camera is used to reference a dream world.
