In Freeplay two women are monitored by a security-camera-style of surveillance. In a series of frantic forrays into public space they search out areas of free play. Drawing on a wardrobe of gendered disguises, the characters perform acts both sensuous and grotesque; bodies become interchangeable and neurosis and fetishes abound. Objects are rubbed, flaunted and inserted, in a performative inquiry into what sexual behaviours are socially acceptable and what 'we can get away with'.

Freeplay was clandestinely shot inside a public changeroom over a period of six hours.  Other locations include alley ways, bank machine centres and a subway platform.
