February 2nd, 2002 was an auspicious day, a rare numerical palindrome. On this day, her birthday, the artist examines signs and omens, attempting to divine the future. Interweaving video and Super 8 film, the video elliptically passes through a mundane present, glimpsing a future that, in its imagining, has perhaps already passed.

Produced through Centre de Production Daimon's Research/Creation residency (Gatineau, Quebec).
