When I was very young I had a recurring nightmare of dolls coming to life. In daylight’s comfort, I wondered why living dolls scared me so much in the middle of the night? Shouldn’t I want to play with them? Playing with Dolls is a brief meander through that feeling via stop-motion animation. Now that I’m all grown up they won’t scare me anymore.
