HUNGRY GHOSTS brings together the spirits of the dead. Wong uses this as an opportunity to visit the graves, resurrect memories, and examine the relationship between the living and the not. Using cross-cultural references Wong will 'feed the hungry ghosts' - unsettled deaths through: murder, suicide, disease. From a private hell to the public realm, this work is a transformative journey , an exorcism combining the past with the here and now. Death is a recurring theme in Wong's work. HUNGRY GHOSTS includes new, used and remixes of materials spanning two decades.
