Death by Vibration

The emptiness of a lonely winter day in a deserted train yard creates the terrain for this short video. A haunting song rises from the desolate cold to feel the warmth of the winter sun. Shot in time lapse Super 8 while walking around a train park, the images were then slowed to give a look of animated still photography. The vibrating skull is scratched on leader cut from 35mm features from a local movie house. The song was written by Meash Jerre, a Metis musician who is based in Ottawa.
