'The Panther and Opossum' is an animated interpretation of an original musical composition by two jazz musicians, Matt Weiers and Carl Keil. The music was composed with a panther and opossum in mind and the elements of stalking, pouncing and denouement. Using the music as a starting point, a variety of pictures, models and graphics were animated using 'After Effects' software as the creative tool. To some extent this is a music video in which the images of a panther stalking and interacting with an opossum are synchronized to the percussive music.
