Inspired by classics like “The Haunting” and “The Innocents” and infused with voyeuristic photo roman elements reminiscent of “La Jetée,” “A Haunted House” is a black and white drama/psychological thriller exploring the distance that emerges between two people as they try to build a relationship. It’s a film that explores the loneliness in being with someone, finding the terror lurking in what never happens and what is never said.
