Every teenager knows better than the adults in their lives. Lessons for Polygamists is my story of growing up in a polygamous household but encapsulated into six lessons I would have like to impart to Dad about how to behave, if he could have listened. The images are drawn from family photographs and presented through the lens of various animation techniques and a collage aesthetic. The location is a diary and ‘the girl’ is an adolescent recounting and grappling with her family stories.
