Realities show us more impressive appearances when they escape from our everyday perception.

The film is the documentation of the river focused on the contour of a group of rounded stones, which were rendered by manipulating the visual field of a camera in 3D space. The photogrammetry technique was used to construct the 3D data from a thousand photographs.
Those impressive moving patterns were found out in the process of observing the sliced sections of the 3D Data. The patterns were not generated by algorithms but extracted from the natural shapes of the river stones.

“The lines are dancing!”

The river stones were photographed at Sagae River in Yamagata prefecture. The sound was recorded on the site.
