Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs is a film and television actress, mainly known for her leading role as Aila in the award-winning feature film Rhymes for Young Ghouls (2013). She was nominated for Best Actress at the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards for Rhymes, and has also been featured in numerous productions such as APTN’s Mohawk Girls (2015), the miniseries, Exploding Sun (2013), and short film, the Blanketing (2013). Her most recent work will include Kirsten Carthew’s The Sun at Midnight (2016) as the leading role of Lia, as well as her directorial debut of the short film, STOLEN.
