Cat Cayuga

Cat Cayuga is of the Onandaga/Mohawk Nation and is a video producer, storyteller, popular theatre worker, published writer, actor and has worked in film. She was the first Native woman Artistic Director for the Native Theatre School for four years. Cat was also the former Executive Director of the Association for Native Development in the Performing and Visual Arts. She has been an active cultural/arts worker in the Aboriginal community for over eleven years and is currently the Creative Producer for the Elder Voices: Strengthening Our Cultural Ground, a project based video training program for the Aboriginal community, a project which she designed and is currently implementing. Cat was also a participant of the New Initiative in Film program, Studio D, National Film Board. Her credits include A Nation Is..., Four Cultural Minutes and Then Some... , Dancing on the Edge and Do You Hear Me Scream
