Madeleine Scott

Madeleine Scott is a moving image archivist and interdisciplinary artist from Toronto. She holds a BFA in Intermedia from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Archives Management from McGill University.

In her art practice, she is interested in intermittency, ontologies of embodiment, and intrasubjective relations. Some of her areas of focus include systems of measurement of time, notation, and psychoanalysis. Her work has been shown at Pleasure Dome, Toronto; Pumice Raft, Toronto; CFAT, Halifax; Anna Leonowens Gallery, Halifax; Apartment Seven, Halifax; and Musique, Halifax. She lives and works in Toronto.
