In this videotape, Frenkel plays four stereotyped roles, each bearing witness to a different truth regarding the missing novelist, Cornelia Lumsden: Lumsden's Friend; her Rival; the Expert on her life and work; and the CBC Commentator. Tim Whiten plays the member of the Audience, the Lover, and the Confidant of the writer.

An installation comprising Parts 1 & 2 of The Secret Life of Cornelia Lumsden is available for acquisition for permanent collections in an edition of five. The artist holds the first copy, and the second is in the collection of the National Gallery of Canada.
