Chef de file de la jeunesse Moscovite, le club de motards Night Wolves, fondé en 1985, est le premier groupe du genre en ex-URSS. S'inspirant de l'Amérique des années 60 et de son Rock and Roll, ce "Club select" de marginaux prône la liberté individuelle et culturelle. Tout en restant profondément russes, les membres du groupe ont adopté le style de vie des Hells Angels des années 50. Par cette appartenance à un groupe plus vaste, ils prennent contact avec l'Occident. The Night Wolves biker gang, founded in 1985, is the first of its kind in the ex-USSR, and the leader among Muscovite youth. Inspired by the rock'n'roll America of the 60s, this fringe Select Club promotes individual and cultural liberty. The members of the group adopted a Hell's Angels of the 50s lifestyle, while remaining deeply Russian. By belonging to this larger group, they are able to make contact with the West. The videomakers captured the life of the group and the Muscovite atmosphere in an intimate and sensitive way. Les Loups captures the profound changes that followed Perestroïka, by sharing with us the life of the agents of the upheaval that is sweeping Russia.
