This House: A Documentary
1990, 14:30 minutes, colour
TAPECODE 9735
Jack Lauder follows his house's history on its journey through Dante's circles of hell. From strict Victorian origin to the late 60's recording studio, to the cynically disabled youth of the 1980's, the house reflects the gradual disintegration of western society. The notion of a documentary's unbiased ideology is laid bare leaving a sentimental, tabloid-induced piece of Canadiana.
