Open Room

1993, 18:00 minutes, colour, English

A video-audio environment in which the observer is drawn by necessity into interacting with the piece. Depending upon where one is standing or walking within the environment, one is aware of parts of the story from different points of view, echoing real life situations where a person can experience only a part of reality. Perhaps best described as a deconstructed docu-narrative, Open Room has the flavour of a dream. Yet, at times, it has the illusion of reality.
