In this instructional video, seven North American herbs and their uses in treating common ailments are discussed by two west coast women. Cecilia Nahanee Wyss and Jo Spaxman get together to share their knowledge, acquired from their wanderings, their studies, and their culture. The herbs discussed in this video are: echinacea, licorice, kinnickinnick(uva-ursi), valerian, burdock, golden seal, and western yew. This documentary is interwoven with a legend of how sacred herbs for healing were created.
