Life’s lil Bitch investigates the topics of ancestral trauma, social failure, and the feeling effects of not being one of the upwardly mobile of the world. As the main character in this narrative I attempt to place myself in a familial historical context and deal with internalized ideas of social and professional binaries of success. What would my ancestors think about me? The good part about being life's lil bitch is the fun, colour, comedy, music, magic, and attempts to heal the code in our nervous systems. The bad part is the unforgiving nature of trauma, fear, and psychic pain. The video shows the contrast of a waterfall and a certified organic juice bar with the hell of interpersonal and intrapersonal confusion where pleasure is not possible. The body, most specifically the nervous system and even experience are a convergence of past, present, and future. Through farce and comedy l embody an exploration into human developmental issues, relational disconnect and uncovering societal and personal matrixes.
