The Dead Man Was a Woman

Cornelia Wyngaarden

1992, 20:00 minutes, colour, English

A gender bender that isn't always what it seems to be. This comic-book-like thriller set in 1950's Vancouver features a cross dressing butch-femme couple, and has the pleasurable register of pop aesthetics as it recreates this much vilified era in lesbian history.
