Summer 86: A Neighbourhood Notebook

1987, 29:00 minutes, colour, French & English

TAPECODE 9122

A personal documentary exploring a multi-ethnic neighbourhood in central Montréal undergoing rapid social and economic transition. An intimate dialogue between past and present is established through the techniques of montage combining still photographs, diary writing, video footage, interviews, live music, an original score and ambiant sounds.
