TV Love (a made for tv love story) was made for an artists' television project, Prime Time Video. Its intent was to express a content of gender mutuality within a structure of references to television. It refers to a conventional narrative device, gives it a hyper-condensed treatment, uses special effects and plays with light. The text is first seen, then heard against a rhythm box score:
It was a love story.
It wasn't like she felt so different than him,
it wasn't like he seemed so like the opposite of her.
But she didn't look in his eyes and see her own reflection;
he didn't see his image in her.
