Moon Under the Summer

John Morgan

1992, 16:33 minutes, colour, English

TAPECODE 164.01

A "landscape" tape invoking a relationship between prairie farmland and the anthropocentric construct of language. While there must be a relationship (we share a common evolutionary past with the land), that relationship, the narrative of the tape, is obtuse -- both in the absurdity of its duality and in other than the obvious. But, although Saskatchewan's history of land use is informed by the disconnectedness of language, there is still a place for song.
