Uphill Mount Everest (Aufwaerts zum Mount Everest)

Ulrike Rosenbach

1983, 11:00 minutes, colour

Performance clips and studio production merge in a colourful, esoteric assemblage. Rosenbach can be seen tying on her running shoes, and walking across a long row of monitors. In bare feet she walks on a shiny reflective chart. A pair of scissors opens to encompass an image of Mount Everest. The story by K.M. Herligkoffer describes the experiences of a group of Mount Everest explorers.
