A passer-by is off-handedly called in and talked into walking down towards an exit, while being repeatedly invited by voices and images to escape to various pleasures which turn out to be images. Those who, through sheer patience or abnegation, will have crossed the corridor will find at the end, as expected, the credits and acknowledgements.

A Corridor Afternoon est une simulation de Thirst, le segment initial et appât de Elastic Movies, une collection de quatre programmes vidéo interactifs produits en 1984 par la section Film/Video du M.I.T. L'installation peut s'apparenter à un jeu vidéo d'arcade. Ceux qui, à force de patience ou d'abnégation, auront pu franchir le corridor trouveront les crédits et remerciements à la sortie...
