The Karen are a minority people of Burma, who have been fighting the Burmese Army in a war of liberation and ethnic survival since Burma became independent in 1947. Traditionally oppressed by the Burmese majority, the Karen, like other ethnic minorities in the country, struggle to survive in an unknown revolution. This videotape attempts to provide a forum for the Karen to tell the world of their struggle.
