Test

Test shows how the clinical test for HIV, the virus which may lead to AIDS, can become a sinister administrative tool that brands individuals with the ugly mark of the AIDS myth. We know that this myth, which equates sexual dissent with disease and death, is powerful. It is made up from political notions of the threatened family and stereotypes of gay behavior. Sometimes we are even complicit in its construction. The characters in Test speak the twisted language of fear as they test each other, and force reality to fit the 'truth'.
