Interpretations presents the controversial issue of TV evangelism and its enormous influence. For this video, Gieg's intention was to illustrate the blatant corruption involved. The fictional storyline consists of a young man who watches clips of programs such as Jimmy Swaggart, Jim and Tammy, and The 700 Club. He discovers what seems to be backwards satanic messages and as a result becomes possessed by the devil and murders his family.
