A man describes his project: Reenacting each of his dreams on video, creating a kind of dream-book in video, arranged both chronologically and thematically, in an attempt to arrive at an exact approximation of the original dream. The dream from which all subsequent dreams emerge, the dream which provides the psychic blueprint for the rest of our lives. This description is followed by a reenactment of his first approximation of the original dream, which paradoxically bears little resemblance to any of his actual dreams.
