I Have To Tell You Something About Myself
1993, 04:30 minutes, colour/B&W, English

This video plays with the idea of gender as destiny. It toys with expectation by subverting the "confessional" style video. The artist matter-of-factly discusses the repercussions of an event that is manifestly untrue, namely that she has turned into a man "over the holidays". This inversion of expectations allows issues of gender roles and sexuality to be examined in a humorous and approachable way.
