Renovation follows an individual's attempt to purchase and renovate a derelict house in Winnipeg. Through a combination of still photographs and video footage the tape casually explores both the surrounding area and interior of the house. The house, generally seen as a symbol of stability and security, becomes liability; its history mirroring the social history of the area in which it is located.
