Marshalore's You Must Remember This is an autobiographical narrative on a theme of the pressure to comform to a feminine stereotype of beauty. It deals with a series of small intimate dramas where she sings old songs of the 1930's and the 1940's. The texts of these songs are completely ridiculous yet.. the music can be haunting and seductive. A tight text, an inspired performance and certainly a comfortable facility with the medium.

Les textes des chansons sont complètements ridicules... mais leur musique est séduisante. Cette contradiction est au coeur de la démonstration de You Must Remember This. Marshalore joue avec la caméra de façon tout à fait prenante, elle réussit à merveille à reternir notre attention...
