TAPECODE 3043.02

At age 35, Gil Cardinal searches for his natural family and an understanding of the circumstances that led to his coming into foster care. This film - unstaged and unrehearsed - is about the process of that discovery. In his search, Gil encounters frustration and loss, but eventually finds his natural family and a renewed sense of his Metis culture. His sharing of a personal chapter in a common story will be a helpful resource to others.
